Alpha is an informal way to find out about Christianity. There is no charge for the course and there are no strings attached once it has finished. The Alpha course has grown over the last ten years and is now run in many countries. Literally millions of people have completed the course. Its success is its informality and simplicity.
An Alpha evening is outlined below:
7:30pm Arrive for Cake and refreshments
8:00 pm Video talk on a topic of Christianity
8:40 pm Break for coffee
8:45 pm Open discussion in small groups
9:30 pm Close of the evening
We generally run courses in January (winter course), April (summer course) and September (autumn course). Alpha runs for ten weeks and includes an away day,
Our venue for the course is St Matthew’s church hall at the rear of St Matthew’s Church, Dudley Road Tipton, DY48DJ. The course and the meal are free and we would love you to be our guest.
