Children’s and Youth Groups

at St Matthew’s

 

At St Matthew’s we have a range of  youth and children's activities through the week and on Sunday mornings.

Sunday Morning

 

Kidz Club

is our Sunday Morning club for children of four years old to school year  six.  The children meet in the church for the first part of the service at 10:30.  Their group moves into the church hall for fun games and teaching.  Kid’s Club finishes at the end of the church service at aprox 12:00.

 

7UP

is our Sunday Morning club for children in school year s 7 - 9.  The young people meet in the church for the first part of the service at 10:30.  Their group moves into the upper room in the hall for fun games and teaching.  7UP finishes at the end of the church service at aprox 12:00.

 

Pathfinders

is our Sunday Morning club for young people of school year 10 to age 18.  The young people meet in the church for the first part of the service at 10:30.  Their group moves into the youth room in the hall for their program.  Pathfinders finishes at the end of the church service at aprox 12:00.

Mid week youth work

 

 

 

 

 

 

GR8

is our after school club for children of eight years old to school year  six.  

The club is held in the church Hall on Tuesdays in term time at 3:30 and finishes at 5:15 pm.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Xcite

is a youth club for young people in school years 7 - 9.

Xcite meets on Thursdays in term time 7 - 8:30 pm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

N’gage

Is a youth club for year 10 - 17 year olds.  N’gage meets on Thursdays in term time as per programme on N’gage page.

 

 

St Matthew’s Playgroup

St Matthew’s playgroup runs on Monday and Friday starting at 9:15 am - 11:15 am.

 

Parents and toddlers

Mothers and toddlers meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:15 am - 11:30 am.

React

Is a Sunday evening youth group for teenagers. React is held at Ebernezer Baptist Church on Sunday evenings.
