Who are we?
St Matthew’s is a community of Christian believers whose focus is to worship God and share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who do not know Him. We enjoy a lively informal style of Bible based worship. We believe that the teaching of God’s truth, found in the Bible, is fundamental to the life of the church and the growth of His Kingdom in Tipton. We want to see the manifestation of the full range of the gifts of the Spirit in God’s church.
Our aim as a Christian community is to grow in faith and Christian maturity as well as growing in number. We are a members of the Tipton Churches Network and we support united church activities.
We are currently praying and working towards being a more active presence in our local community through our Christians Against Poverty Debt Counselling Centre. Our desire is to be a resource for churches in our area.
On a Sunday morning we welcome all ages to come and join in worship. On three out of four Sundays there are young peoples groups covering ages 4 through to 18. All are welcome!
We have a variety of mid week activities, Prayer meetings, Light Break, Play Group, Toddler group, Alpha, Band, GR8, Xcite.
